MedLook Weekly Tip For 07/22/2006Labels - Insurance Carrier and Referral Source Labels Return to ArchiveThere are only two types of
labels remaining to be discussed: Insurance Carrier
and Referral Source. Each of these have the specific
intended use of generating mailing labels particular to their
destination. Probably the biggest use of the Insurance
Carrier labels is for those clients who still transmit their claims via
paper. A label can be quickly generated for each and every
carrier that you need to send a postal package or letter to.
Of course, you could hand write the address but using the label generator
ensures you use the same and correct address information each time as well as
allows you to do multiple carriers in a single click. The
only options available with the standard label are to include the phone number
and insurance mnemonic. The Referral
Source label only has a single option and that is to print the first name
either first or last (as John Doe or Doe, John). In either case, and with
all labels, a custom layout can be designed to give a unique look to a label
(fonts, colors, size, content, etc.). Email Us Any questions, comments, or suggestions are welcome. |
