MedLook supports a single date per patient that you can use to mark a recall time for the patient.  You can use this for the next check-up, an annual, or any necessary return visit from the patient.  The recall is not strictly a scheduled appointment, although it could be, but it is more inclined to be used as a notification to the patient that they should call for an appointment.  When a patient leaves the office you would edit the Recall Date, the last item on the left column of patient data on the Edit dialog, and set the time prior to when they need to return.  Since this field supports a complete date, but not a time, it could suffice as a scheduled appointment in some cases.  Typically it is used with the labels to send out notices to the clients to call in.

Using the Recall Labels you would select the type of label you are using, the starting point on the label paper, whether you want to print the phone number or not, last name first or last name last, the font to use, and the date.  The date is selected per month because normally you would use this at the same time of the month each month to notify patients that they should call in and schedule an appointment.  You can also check the Clear Recall Date when you Display/Print the labels.  This makes it much easier than clearing the recall dates individually per patient.

As with all of the labels you could use the custom layout option and design a label that suits your specific needs.

Recall Labels is a simple but effective tool that allows you to easily generate labels, or a list, so you can contact your patients to schedule a future appointment.  Of course, you don't have to print the labels, you could just display them and call the patients directly.  Or you could use the custom layout and just generate a list of patients with the information you need.
