MedLook Weekly Tip For 06/30/2006

Some offices still send out birthday cards to their clients as a nice courtesy.  In MedLook simply select the Birthday label type in the Office Labels dialog.  Select the items that define the label size, start row and column, number of copies, etc.  Check each item as appropriate for your label (Print Phone #, Print Last Name First). 

Now set the parameters to filter the patients appropriately.  Simply set the Month and optionally specify a range of years.  If you don’t specify a range of years then all patients with a birthday in the month selected will be included.  You can also optionally print the DOB on the label.  Select Display or Print as appropriate.

Of course, if you check the Use Custom Layout option then you can define the look and content of each label to be of varied font, type, etc.
