How To Use The Recall Date   Return to Archive

In the Patient Edit dialog one of the options under the Misc category is Recall Date (at the moment it is the only option). This field is used in the Labels folder.

Here's what it does. You set the recall date for a later point in time (e.g. next year). Near the beginning of each month you select the Labels folder and select the Recall labels. When you select Display a list of all of the patients you set to recall for that month will be displayed so you can contact them and schedule a new appointment. You can print the labels to a label form and mail a notice to the patient as an alternative (hence the reason it's in the Labels folder).

Some people use this as a simple form of a scheduler, but it is very limited in this respect.
